 Why Children's Ministry Exist at NCC

The Children's Ministry at New Community Church exists to Lift up the name of the Lord and Instill God's love in the hearts of children by Gathering together with friends, Helping people through service and Telling others about Jesus.

(Wednesday Night)

Nursery: (birth to age 3)
For our youngest LIGHT keepers, we will have loving and caring individuals that will look after their needs, while mom and dad enjoy an evening of bible study and adult fellowship.

The Donut Clubhouse: (Ages 4-6)
Wednesday nights for ages 4-6 will be spent with Duncan and the Donut Man! They will be learning important lessons, fixing donuts and making crafts at the Clubhouse. Music and Scripture Memorization will be a big part of the Clubhouse activities.

CAMP L.I.G.H.T. (grades 1-6)
Every Wednesday Night children in grades 1-6 can join us at the Factory for an evening of CAMP. Games, Scripture Memorization, crafts and a simple message will be part of the night. The children will also be able to participate in mission projects and Special Event nights.

Kids Quizzing (grades 3-6)
Kid's Quizzing begins in October and runs through March each year. Teams of kids compete with other teams over a given list of questions based on a section of Scripture. What an awesome way for these kids to hide God's word in their hearts!
  Practices will be held every Wednesday night from 6-7 p.m. and the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month.  The children are also encouraged to study at least ½ hour daily to prepare for the quiz meets.
  Quiz Meets are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month from October to March.  If you are interested in joining the Kids Quiz Team, please contact Dottie Lynn at 394-3680.

(Sunday Morning)

Nursery: (birth to age 3)
Our nursery workers provide a safe and loving environment for your child while you spend time worshipping the Lord.

Preschool: (age 4-5)
Located in the cafeteria, the children are presented a bible lesson each week. Along with the lesson there are crafts and other fun activities for the children to enjoy. 

Children's Church: (Grades K-4)
Children in grades K-4 are dismissed from the worship service each week to enjoy a lesson on their own. During the lesson, they will be learning more about what the Bible has to say, as well as learning a Bible verse each week.

Bible Bookmarks
Bible Bookmarks are available for families and students who want to read Scripture each day, but don't know where to start. Stop by the church office to get started today!
